Since December 15, 2023, the new Hua Hin train station has come into operation. Together with the introduction of a rapid express train from Bangkok, this makes train travel a viable alternative to the car journey.
The new station is conveniently located just a short walk south of the old station, approximately 200 meters away. It’s easily accessible by foot, taxi, or other transportation options. During the soft opening, car parking is available at the old station. Additional parking options will be announced later.
Replacing the historic but outdated old station, the new Hua Hin Train Station promises, modern facilities and amenities, improved accessibility and flow, and better safety and security features. Retail space is said to come soon.
Importantly, the station accommodates the needs of elderly passengers, people with disabilities, pregnant women, and those with heavy luggage. One accompanying person is permitted for assistance if needed. Announcements will be made 20 minutes before each train’s arrival, directing passengers to the appropriate platform
